About a4p
a4p comes from a love of live music, and of the small local venues where so much of it happens.
The best gigs are often in back rooms, pubs and village halls, played by bands you may never have heard of. They are also the hardest to find out about and the hardest to keep track of: a venue’s website here, a band’s social media there, a festival’s lineup on a poster. a4p tries to close that gap by bringing what’s on into one place.
Go, and show your appreciation
In a world that is more online every day, with AI-made music climbing the charts, go out and experience the real thing: real people, playing live, in the same room as you. A listing only matters if people turn up. If you find something here, go. Buy a drink, stay for the support act, and bring a friend. Tip the band, buy their record or their T-shirt, and tell them you enjoyed it. Small venues and small bands live on that appreciation.
